Late Afternoon Pencils Inked

Here are preliminary inks on the panels of the page photographed in the post below. I'll add backgrounds later and do clean-up and corrections at the very end.

Technical note: I normally ink my lettering first but the dialogue in this story will be fine-tuned to the last minute so I have gagued the space generously and hope it will all fit in the end.

(And no, I didn't ink this today--it's the last thing I finished inking before Aldara was born. We'll see when we get back to it!)

Pictures of an Exhibition

Lausanne, Switzerland recently hosted BD-FIL, The Lausanne International Comics Festival, and one of the features this year was an exhibit of copies of all 99 pages of my 99 Ways to Tell A Story: Exercises in Style (taken from the French-language edition by L'Association).

I wasn't sure what kind of exhibit they were going to do—I was expecting the usual room amongst 10 other small features—so I was surprised and impressed when I received a CD in the mail the other day with photos of the installation. Here are a few of them:
